Twins End Winning Streak in San Fransisco

The Twins ended their 8 game win streak last night against the San Francisco Giants. Surprisingly, it was Nick Blackburn to the end the streak even though he has been unbelievable during the month of June. Twins played some pretty spotty defense last night, but I thought they just couldn't get any timely hitting. The Twins will be back at it tonight against the Giants. They're facing Tim Lincecum who has not been pitching well so he hopefully he keeps that up tonight and the Twins get a win.

9 game Twins Homestand could be better than christmas

I am Soooo pumped that the Minnesota Twins are on a 9 Game Homestand. There are still such great Twins Tickets out there for all of the games that I might decide to blow off work and go, not so sure how my boss would feel about that but I would LOVE it. Minnesota Twins Home Games are now my favorite thing, first of all I am in love with Target Field, the seats are better, the food is amazing and baseball should be outside period.

If you are reading this, you probably aren't working or studying or doing what ever productive thing you should be doing so I'm going to go ahead and give you permission to just blow off everything responsible you are supposed to do today or tomorrow and go get yourself to Target Field to take in a Twins Game.

Minnesota Twins Chicago White Sox Series overall good warm up for the Twins Home Opener

The Minnesota Twins just completed their second road trip of the 2010 Twins Season and they haven't even swung a bat at Target Field. The Minnesota Twins Chicago White Sox 3 game series ended today with a 2-1 series score.

The Twins Roster took on the White Sox after spending the week in California, and despite predictions that the team would be tired and listless, my boys stepped up to the plate (literally). On Friday after long and complicated travels the Twins beat the White Sox 4-3 in extra innings. Saturday the Twins won 2-1 and Sunday after a long stretch of road games the Twins posted their second loss of the season with a 4-5 loss.

The Minnesota Twins Roster and the Twins Coaching Staff will travel home tonight to be ready for tomorrows big Twins Home Opener. Twins Roster Not Set Yet and Joe Mauer's Twins Future still uncertain...

After reaching the Jan. 1 2010 mark, Minnesota Twins Fans are experiencing a double pull of emotions. On one end there is some of the biggest pre-season MN Twins Hype and Excitement there has ever been. On the other end is the anxiety and stress Minnesota Twins Fans are feeling with the unsure future of Joe Mauer, the Golden Boy of the Minnesota Twins Roster.

Joe Mauer, the Minnesota Twins Catcher, is not only a hometown hero, he is an asset to the Minnesota Twins Franchise. Joe Mauer is one of the most consistent and level headed catchers in the MLB, he is calm and collected and makes good decisions under pressure. While he isn't a powerhouse hitter, he has one of the best swings in the league and is fairly consistent. As a catcher he really couldn't be any better. More importantly, Joe Mauer provides leadership and motivation for the Minnesota Twins Roster.
