Twins Looking to Take 3 of 4 from Texas

The Minnesota Twins will be trying to win this series in Arlington, Texas tonight by winning 3 of 4 games. Well, they have the perfect guy to do it tonight. Scott Baker is pitching tonight for the Minnesota Twins. Baker has won his last five decisions and says he is feeling much better after sitting out with elbow soreness before the All Star break.

Baker will face a loaded Texas Ranger lineup and his pitching counter part is Matt Harrison. Harrison is having a very solid season. He is 8-7 with a 3.05 ERA. Thankfullly Scott Baker is coming off a stretch where he is 6-1 with a 1.50 ERA in his last seven starts.

Baker only threw 82 pitches in his last outing against Detroit in which he last 5 innings and gave up no runs.

Matt Harrison is 0-2 with a 7.36 ERA in two starts against Minnesota.

The Minnesota Twins Home Opener is Just 3 Days Away...

It is finally here, after lots of anticipation, waiting and Twins Roster drama the Minnesota Twins Home Opener is a mere 2 days away!! I am so pumped!

On Monday April 12th at 3:00 the Minnesota Twins will take on the Boston Red Sox at the Twins Inaugural Home Opener at Target Field. Although lots of Minnesota Twins Fans (myself included) caught a sneak peak of Target Field at the Twins Exhibition Games nothing beats the Home Opener. For me the Twins Home Opener is the official sign that spring is here and it is time to start thinking about summer baseball games and sunshine.

I just looked up the Weather for Target Field on Monday April 12th... There are supposed to be early scattered showers and a high of 66 degrees, PERFECT to sit in the stands at Target Field. I won't be there (Twins Home Opener Tickets were way too expensive for me) but for all of you who will be there... ENJOY!!

Joe Mauer officially a Minnesota Twins Player until 2018... insert sigh of relief here

A collective sigh of relief was let out yesterday when the Minnesota Twins and Joe Mauer announced that the hometown golden boy from Cretin would be staying in the Twin Cities until 2018. The MN Twins and Joe Mauer came to an 8 year, $184 million contract extension.

"It's the fourth-largest contract -- both in total value and annual salary ($23 million) -- in Major League history" -mlb.com. Local Twins Fans and Critics are saying it is one of the best things that could have happened to the Minnesota Twins. With Joe Mauer a part of the Twins Line up until 2018, the Minnesota Twins may have the "star power" necessary to pull in some other big names. Players respect Joe and want to be on his team...

With the added revenue from advanced Twins Target Field Tickets, it seems like the Twins have this years pay increase covered... it will be interesting to see what the Minnesota Twins do to insure they have what it takes to pay Mauer what they have promised him, especially considered it is rumored Mauer's contract alone could be as much as 25% of the Twins Salary Budget.

No need to wait for Minnesota Twins Tickets to Exhibition Games, Ticket King has Minnesota Twins Target Field Tickets now!

The Minnesota Twins announced today that single game tickets for the Twins Exhibition Games at Target Field on April 2nd and 3rd are going to be released the general public on February23rd at 10:00 AM.

But there is NO NEED to wait for Target Field Tickets, my favorite Twins Tickets source, Ticket King has Target Field Tickets now! Ticket King is located in both St. Paul (near the Xcel Energy Center) and in Minneapolis (near the Metrodome). Ticket King has great season tickets for Target Field and is already selling seats for the exhibition games and the regular season including the 2010 Twins Home Opener.

I looked this morning and Twins Tickets for the exhibition games are still selling at great prices, but don't wait too long... the closer the game gets and the more press the single game ticket sale gets the more demand there will be and the higher ticket prices will go. Buy Twins Tickets today!

Minnesota Twins Tickets make great Holiday Gifts

Stressing about what to get your friends and family for the holidays? Sick of spending hours in lines at the Mall of America? Wish your Holiday Shopping was done?

I have the solution to all of these... Buy Minnesota Twins Tickets online. Lots of ticket sites have Great Deals on Minnesota Twins Tickets for Target Field, I know that it seems that the baseball season is really far away and giving Twins baseball tickets as gifts in December seems a little crazy, but trust me I can't think of a single person who would not LOVE to unwrap a big box of Minnesota Twins Tickets!

I suggest buying your MN Twins Tickets early though, the closer the season gets (both Holiday and Baseball that is) the more expensive Twins Tickets will become!
