Countdown to Twins Spring Training

The 2014 schedule for the Minnesota Twins starts with the Twins opening the season against the White Sox at U.S. Cellular Field on March 31 for a three-game series.

These games happen before the Twins head to Cleveland to face the Indians for three games at Progressive Field. It marks the fourth time in five years the Twins will open the year on the road after having Opening Day at Target Field in '13!

Opening day is on March 31st and this means in 95 days. I CAN'T WAIT!

I'm Thankful for the Minnesota Twins!

As Thanksgiving is coming up, I can't help but to think of all the things I'm thankful for. And after family, friends and my health, obviously the Minnesota Twins are at the top of the list! Although they didn't played their game this season, the Minnesota Twins are my baseball team and I will always be thankful for them!

Joe Mauer Moving to First Base

This just in - Twins fans. Joe Mauer will be moving to play first base. This doesn't come to a surprise to many Twins fans because the Minnesota Twins are hoping to avoid a repeat of Joe Mauer's concussion that cut his 2013 season short.

Mauer is signed through 2018 with $115 million remaining on his contract. I won't be surprised if people want to sit on the first baseline now to get a better view ;)
