The Minnesota Twins beat the Kansas City Royals 5-4 yesterday afternoon and will face them on Tuesday and Wednesday. Jim Thome hit his 585th home run, which hit the top of the flag pole in right field (estimated at 480 feet - wow). Jason Kubel also hit a home run.
